Charles E. Dorr
Charles (”Chuck”) Dorr has been a trial lawyer for 23 years. He began his practice of law with Hyatt & Rhoads, PC in Atlanta, where he was responsible for prosecution, defense, and management of construction defects, products liability, and fiduciary duty claims. In 1991 he left Hyatt & Rhoads to establish his own firm, Charles E. Dorr, P.C. In the years since he has been involved in large civil cases representing clients against defendants such as Citigroup, DuPont, Hoescht Celanese, Lowe’s, Marriott, Shell Oil, Staubach Company, and Tenet Healthcare. Mr. Dorr is a 1985 graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law. Prior to studying law, he was a Special Agent with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. He is also a veteran of service in the U.S. Army Military Police.

Richard M. Frankel
Richard Frankel began his legal career with the firm of Miller, Keeton, Bristow & Brown, which he joined in 1983. Eight years later he left that firm with senior partner Dick Miller to form Miller & Frankel. During the first 12 years of his career, Mr. Frankel primarily defended large companies in complex litigation. This defense experience has provided him crucial insight on how best to represent plaintiffs in cases against sizeable defendants. Since 1995, Mr. Frankel has worked almost exclusively to represent multiple plaintiffs on a contingency fee basis. A 1983 graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, he is currently a partner in the Houston firm of Hackerman Frankel. |

Fernando Ortiz Gómez
Fernando Ortiz Gómez is managing partner of Ortiz Gómez Abogados, S.C., in Mexico City. Prior to establishing his firm in 1993, he was Legal Department Director and Secretary of the Board of Directors of Inverméxico Securities Brokerage Firm, Multivalores Financial Group, and Mexival-Banpais Financial Group. He has also served as Professor of Securities and Banking Law at the Mexican Autonomous Technological Institute, Pan-American University, and Anahuac University, and has presided over several conferences, including the Fourth International Forum of Securities Law in 1991. He has worked for the Ministry of Commerce and been United Nations Organizations Counselor. In 1988 he was responsible for the National Analysis of the Mexican Securities Market, elaborated for GATT. Hilary S. Greene
Hilary Greene graduated from Tulane University in 2001 with a degree in finance and business management. Following graduation, she taught elementary school for a short period of time, and then attended South Texas College of Law, graduating summa cum laude in 2005. While at South Texas, Ms. Greene was an active member of the school’s nationally recognized Moot Court team and a member of the Law Review. She also interned for the Honorable David Hittner of the Southern District of Texas. Ms. Greene interned at Moriarty Leyendecker Erben while in law school, and has been with the firm since becoming licensed as an attorney. |

Stephen M. Hackerman
Stephen Hackerman, a partner in the firm of Hackerman Frankel, has practiced law in Houston since 1974. The focus of that practice has been commercial litigation, and he has played a major role in numerous cases involving disputes exceeding $100 million. In 1974 he joined Baker Botts, became a partner in 1980, and then left in 1988 to become a partner at Miller, Bristow, and Brown. There he began representing plaintiffs in major litigation against large defendants. Today that is his sole concentration. He has successfully prosecuted cases involving defendants such as Prudential-Bache, Merrill Lynch, Shell, DuPont, Celanese, Marriott, and Columbia/HCA Healthcare. Mr. Hackerman is a B.A. graduate from the University of Texas, where he also received his law degree. From 1970 to 1974 he served in the Navy Judge Advocate General Corps.. |

P. Kevin Leyendecker
Kevin Leyendecker has successfully represented hundreds of individual plaintiffs in a wide variety of consumer, personal injury, fraud, and other intentional misconduct related matters. Although he typically represents plaintiffs, he also represents defendants on occasion and has successfully tried both plaintiff and defense cases to jury verdict in state and federal courts. He is a graduate of the University of Texas, where he earned both a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and his law degree. In 1992 he joined the law firm of James Moriarty, where he has been involved in successful litigation against some of the largest corporations in the U.S. Married with three children, Mr. Leyendecker is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys running, hunting, fishing, golf, and spending time with family and friends at his ranch in south Texas. |

Sandra C. McCallion
Sandra McCallion is a graduate of Yale Law School, where she served as a Lead Editor of the Yale Journal on Regulation and was a member of the Moot Court Board. She formerly practiced with the firm of Debevoise & Plimpton. Ms. McCallion has experience in trial and international arbitrations in complex commercial cases, employment-related litigation, and patent and trademark litigation. |

James R. Moriarty
James Moriarty is nationally known for his work in mass torts, cases in which he represents large numbers of individuals going against big corporations and businesses. In his first major case he represented the owners of nearly 12,000 homes damaged by polybutylene plumbing systems; ultimately, he helped recover in excess of $125 million for the individual clients and $1 billion on behalf of other homeowners across the U.S. Over the last two decades he has successfully represented clients in cases against Shell Oil, Tenet Healthcare, Prudential Securities, and Marriott, among others. A decorated veteran, Mr. Moriarty served three tours of duty in Vietnam for the U.S. Marines. He holds two single-mission Air Medals, awarded for heroic achievement. Mr. Moriarty divides his time between Houston, Texas, and Boulder, Colorado. He has three children.
